Thanks fella's , dont ever pass this kit up its a beaty for its size ..... ta da! we have paint with 4BO............ Then some rust/burnt base colours ................. Next is gloss , salt and top coat .. in that order lol

Your green looks good Deano but you may have left this one under the photo lights too long...you've got a huge brown patch across the middle! Nice start to the burnt-out areas, looking forward to more.

Thanks Dicky , the painting is finito , so Im now moving onto working the burnt area............... Im adding pigments to the damaged area and once Im happy I will seal it with gloss coat . Then detail painting and more pigments.

Thanks guys , Dicky Im not too comfortable with pigments and am always learning new things . If you want that dust look but lose it under gloss/matt coat try the fixer solution from Mig it does actaully work . Sometimes I get lucky with pigments and the work the way I want them .... other times its not so good ........ for example I am really winging it with this one at the mo and really hope I dont muck it up lol Gloss coat on so I can add more pigments and washes , different rust/burnt tones .

Many thanks fella's , Im glad to think I might actually be getting this right ..... plenty of time left to muck it up yet lol. Anyhoo second layer of pigments and washes followed by matt coat . Next is filters to the rest of the tank .
