Even if my weekend hasn't been the best I've ever had, I somehow managed to do something on this one. The weathering of the interiors is almost done. A couple of touch ups and I'll be ready to move on: As always all comments, criticism, suggestions, blabbering are warmly welcome.

I don't think you'd drive your car in the middle of Afghanistan trying to dodge RPG shot from mujaidins Thanks mate

Nice job mate. I think the pigments look great and good too seeing them being used as opposed to just washes

Ian, thanks a lot mate. I'm mixing tricks from around the internet, this one is a mix between Bill's water and pigments mixture I used on the sherman II and the use of pigment fixer. I mixed pigments and fixer and "painted" it in place. I like the effect I achieved, but next time I'll mix two or more pigment colours to add depth. Thom, thanks a lot, I'm blushing Anthony, go and grab one, they're true fun. Trumpy has released the SPW-70 too, that is the eastern german variant that can be set at one of the many checkpoints between DDR and BDR during cold war...

Great work Lui - I agree with Ian - nice to see the pigs applied dry like this for a change - very cool fella - will you fix these at all or leave as they are? They're already fixed. They were applied mixing them with a fixing medium from True Earth and then putting them in place with a brush.

Cheers Pete Thanks Dicky, that's the best part of the trick. The fix & wet solution lets the pigs look dry even if it's fixing them.

Some more progress on this one. The lower hull interiors are done, I think I've weathered them enough. So, I switched to the top hull, but it'll be a longer job as it involves a lot of masking, the viewports need a careful job. This is how it looks right now As always ACW gents

LOL, AnDee. Thanks a lot, as I was telling Dicky, I used AK Africa Dust pigment mixed with True Earth's Fix & Wet, so to achieve a dusty, dry look yet fixing them to the floor and sides.

I got it for my Sherman II build, but I find that its tones are far more useful. They look so close to the afghan dust they seem to be more afghan than african
