lol I just thin AK stuff loads with enamel thinners, let it pool on the surface and then evaporate the thinners with a hair dryer and viola your left with just the pigment of the wash. So yeah no pigments....?

Great work buddy i really like the B&W preshade idea its a bit like marmite ya either love it or hate it and i luuuuuuuuurve it ;)nice weathering effects too mate cant wait to see it will you be bringing it to On Track next month?

Nice build MJ, interesting to see panzer grey on a '46 AFV Looking at at the design, they didn't learn much about shot traps from the early Pz's!

I have Amusing Hobby kit, and they have three paintings in the instructions. All are painted grey as you did. The give out three units, but think that might have been fiction. gary

Thanks for the comments guys, yeah being a Paper Panzer I didn't think it really made a difference painting it grey and giving it fictional decals. Like most of my armour builds any historical facts go out the window! Blame that on my Sci Fi roots lol
