Excellent, thank you!
In Germany such things are always censored beyond recognition when you buy them.
Cheers, Tobi

My parents went to Berlin last weekend and visiting Madame Tussauds, they later said it was forbidden to take pictures of the Hitler figure...
Article 86 of StGB says you're not allowed to trade or publish Nazi and SS symbols or propaganda, but this is ridiculous!

WTF??? I mean, who says that you are a fascist because you photograph this figure for lets say historical interest and/or just because you find that the piece itself is very good artscraft? Like you said... ridiculous.

Article 86 of StGB says you're not allowed to trade or publish Nazi and SS symbols or propaganda, but this is ridiculous! completely right...I always order at Der Sockelshop, but once I ordered decals for figures...due to law they had to remove the SS and swastika symbols...the even removed the panzer crew skull insignia, though that had nothing to do with SS or nazi... I can understand that WWII has been a trauma for Germans, but jeez, we are way 60 years later... Cheers

I can understand that WWII has been a trauma for Germans, but jeez, we are way 60 years later... Cheers LOL! Better order such stuff from "plasticmodelbouw.nl"! Not that I would order SS insignias there... The point with the Panzer Skull is, though it was derived from the Emperor's Hussars emblem, it has a similarity to the SS skull. The German law explicitely claims that symbols similar to the forbidden ones are forbidden also. Hence it is no use to change the orientation of the Swastika on your model, for example. For some time during the 90's, you weren't even able to buy a toy pirate ship with the Jolly Roger on it! Thankfully they calmed down a bit again. But modelers always risk prosecution when showing off their models in the public uncensored. Foreign modelers are always kind of surprised when they come to shows in Germany with their models and, in worst case, are suspended from the contest. Cheers, Tobi
