Started a new Schwimmwagon at the last Stevens County Scale Model Club night and got some more work done on it this afternoon in the bunker! I have an old one that I made pre-airbrush as you can see by the pictures and it too will be getting a total makeover! I could never paint figures very well but Ski has me convinced that oils are a better alternative so will be playing with them and these figures I built today and redoing the old ones as well! Bear with me as I am a slow builder due to many jobs and learning new stuff here! So here we are so far! Any tips would be awesome!!! Pray for me!!! LOL!!!

Today with all the snow I headed to the bunker and put a nice base coat of acrylic on them to see what I missed cleaning up and to give the oil paints something to grab onto! No photos yet as it is boring to look at! LOL!!!

What a difference 30 years make! That new Schwimmie looks great. You have any plans yet for a setting? Looking at the figures you're planning something like the Bulge?

Thanks guys! As usual life, namely two jobs get in the way along with winter upkeep, snow-blowing, shoveling, dealing with icy driveways etc... but as I said bear with me as this will be a long term project! Still researching the figures camo etc... Ski has been a great help! We will get there and will be posting pics of the progress both good and bad! LOL!!!!
