Hiya fellas. It's been 3 days since the forum has been active. I've tried to make the forum as easy as possible to navigate, cover the common topics etc etc. I need some feedback on what you think of the forum so far, what needs to be moved or changed. !! After all it's a place for you to enjoy and post your builds. If anyone has any problems or issues with the forum ( technical, not disliking ) be sure to get with me or the mods and we'll try to fix the prob as soon as we can.
Cheers Admin me scratchmod Rob

jackwagon, some very good points bud. One of the main reasons why I started the old forum, and now this one, is so that modelers can have FUN building models, meet some great people like you and everyone else on here. We have all been on forums before, unless this is your first , so we all know the rules that most forums have, and frankly anywhere on the internet. basically no foul language, nudity, anything too abscene etc etc. I do ask that we leave politics and religion out of the forum, there is a place and time for that...and it's not here. The most important thing that I cannot stress enough is to respect one anothers opinions and modeling preference. The same things that you expect in life outside of the hobby. I do encourage that we show the modelers new to the hobby or just coming back the same respect and not tear their models apart because something is not perfect, 100% accurate etc. These things can be pointed out so as not to offend, but be constructive. There are too many forums where modelers are turned off because of such idiotic things. That's when the hobby is no longer fun or a hobby. So yes you may have to watch your p's and q's to a point . So far I have had no problem with anyone on my forum the past two years...and don't think I will either. If anyone has a problem with another forum member, please hash things out in a PM and not on the open forum. jackwagon, no probs bud, I think we can control you and Mark ;D The mods are here to assist if there are problems such as not being able to post pics, something needs to be moved to a diff board, or even start a new category. As you all know I also enjoy to build models...or wreck them ;D so I could use some backup. I hope this helps clear things up. I could post an official Rules of the Form thing...but we are all adults here. Cheers Rob

Mack, good to have you here bud. As for the high post count, I'd say most of it is in the Pub ;D ;D no mater, as long as we have fun and still build some models.
Chris once things die down here I will get with you guys on that.

jackwagon, how else can we look at adds for plastic surgery booozooms and not get into trouble with the little lady? Truth of it is give it about 2 hours and we'll all probably stop noticing - the things only appear at the top and bottom of the page

Guys sorry about the adverts, I new they would show up today and should have warned everyone. jackwagon I don't care much for them either but for the time being they will be there. I will and have been researching and checking into doing something different then having the ads, but this won't be done until next year.
I also do not want affiliates or forum sponsors because then I lose all control of what I want to do with the forum and any future adverts.
Chris has explained it correct. I have communicated this with the mods yesterday and gave the the heads up and reason for it. The old site was together with my website and I pay monthly for it. I can't afford to start paying for another forum for something that is only a hobby...quite sure you all understand.. Again this may change in the next month or so. We can always go back to the old ad free forum !!!
As it's been said, you don't notice them after a while.
Sorry for the inconvenience fellas, but we have to live with it a while.
Cheers Rob

Hey Tiger.
Sorry bud. I did post and stick a thread that read "Please Read" and also commented, deleted and stuck threads so everyone could see it. There wasn't much else I could do on the old forum . Ar least on the new one I can send all members emails or pm if needed.
Anyhow, you found us mate....have fun bro

As for the back button. I haven't checked into it yet, but there is "forum jump" below the quick reply, right hand side.

Cool, glad that helps you. I need to keep an eye out for the amount of CSS I add to the forum...too much in the main header will start to slow things down. The prob with the old forum was that we had too much traffic for it to keep up. here we are doing pretty good so far ...I hope.
