Whilst researching the 105 I came across this dissertation by a USMC Major titled "British Artillery during Operation Corporate" (Retaking of the Falkland Islands.) Its an interesting read. Here

Vlad - This is my eighth KFS kit (they are addictive). (I have blogged several on this site). The process they use results in very little clean up, no air bubbles and an excellent fit. As someone said "its easy to forget that this is a resin kit. All of the KFS Military models issued so far have been mastered by David Jane and are accurate representations of the subject matter IMHO. And I have no connection with the company other than a want to build all their kits.

Sounds like a love affair I also have no connection, but I worked for the company who carry out all of the molding and casting, obviously a time consuming business which then frees time for more mastering , they always looked lovely, just never saw one fully assembled lol

Balancing gear bags installed, adjusted and glued to size. Now need to take off and paint. Almost complete, just a control linkage to be installed on the right side and build will be finished and on to the mover!.................................... Hi Tony A lovely looking kit...the KFS kits look excellant. I saw a documentary on Afghanistan and the RA gunners broke down the 105, man-packed the individual pieces and ammo up a huge hill...giving them control over a full valley below etc. The Taliban didn't even know they were up there until the RA gave them 'the good news'. Imagine a 105 firing direct fire downwards at the bad guys LOL Smudge
