LOL! I am glad I am alone... I just can not do OOB anymore. Fine work on small details there!

Bill, Andy, and Jack - the Dragon ejector pins are by far the best and you get a lifetimes supply in just one kit Here's todays update and this time it is really a quick one. The tow cables, they are made of some copper wire I had left over from Trumpeter the shackles are from the Italeri kit with 3mm brass rod added as attachment points. The Kit attachment just looked . No kidding about Dragon and ejector pins! Great idea using brass rod... one of drawbacks regarding Dragon kits... terrible tow cables! You did the right thing... looking great!

Nice job on the replacement cables. Watch out for Phil, he likes to use the force to position difficult parts on his builds when he gets a little lazy.

Just read through this one and all I can say is NICE! For some reason the fender modifications are the thing that sticks with me. However, the entire build is very well done. Definitely am going to have to sit down and do a few Leopards.... Keep it up, am awaiting developments.... Bob

Luigi, Pete, Bill, Bob, Paul and Dicky, thanks guys I have been a bit neglective the last few days, all I have done is get the road wheels off the sprue and glued them together. I have found another picture from `65 with a vehicle wearing the D640 tracks, so now I can definitely use the Orochi tracks I have. Maybe I'll get some progress pics after the BBQ tomorrow, only if the beer allows mind. Oh yes, Dicky I also think the box is the worst part to scratch Bill, I'm not too worried about Phil and the force, I think it's worse when he gets his lightsaber out Paul

The chains you mounted on the glacis with the ejector pin plastic are the rubber bungs/plugs that cover the co.ax m.g and the left hand sight when the tank goes for a little swim,Yep I hate p.e too mate!!!,Little cars make great lenses for the leopards etc!!. All the best from Richard Hi Richard, thanks for dropping by and thanks for the info , I had guessed that the plugs were for the mantlet cover I just wasn't sure. Here is todays update, as I said I'm using the Orochi track set and I must say they look good The drawback is, it took me 2 1/2 hours to get them off the sprue, cleaned and put together. Here some pics: I was going to try and make the Diehl D139 E2 track but after I had found a picture with a prototype vehicle with the newer track I decided against it They really are 100% workable tracks, and put together with no glue. The only thing that worries me is that vinyl end connectors are made of a material like early DS styrene / AFV club styrene / Bronco styrene, that stuff melted on me after a paint job with enamels . I guess I'll just use acrylics on the them to avoid any hassle. I can't wait to get the other side done , then I can push my Leopard tank around the bench making tank noises vrooom vrroooooommm vroooooom /gear change/ vroooom vrooooooom (all in a deep manly tone) Paul

Thanks lads, the Orochi tracks are worth their pay, they cost me 21.95€ but if I do another Leo I will go the same way again. Here we go again And as it's "tea time" this should help the monotonous cleanup work speed by More later.......... depends what though Paul

Jack and Luigi, thanks lads Dicky, the suspension could be poseable with a little care but I just couldn't be arsed this time Bill, you are so right, but I think I lubricated everything a bit too much Here's todays update. Re-arranged tool stowage, and the adding of dirt/mud from my own mix of stuff: Hopefully I'll get some paint/primer on there tomorrow. Paul
