Pete a very nice start there. If I hadn't read your accompanying text you'd think that Italeri had got a perfect fitting kit there Looking forward to the main course Paul

Smudge Nice job on the Rover mate. I reckon the AA TUAAM's and antenna bases would look good on that as well. Smudge (obviously the other one) you read my mind! just got some in the post today too! Thanks chaps the wheels arrived today so I put em on the chassis in about 5 minutes and they do make a big difference compared to the kit wheels. I used accurate armour set LRA005 goodyear tyre set. They are directional so AA supply a guide to fitting so that the tread pattern looks correct.

You are right Chris it would have been nice to have clear indicators. I am going to experiment with some thin clear rod and see if I can make some as it would look much better. Now all the main parts are sorted it's time to start adding all those little extras.

Hi Smudge
I very nearly picked up the Land Rover kit yesterday but it's selling in my LHS for £17.50...for a kit that's nearly 40 years old?
Wouldn't it be great if someone like Bronco did a new series III?

Those AA wheels do make a difference alright. Its probably an italeri thing- the wheels I've got for the digi-HMMVE look decidedly insipid- so I'm probalby looking to invest in something a bit more meaty. P

I've also added a little more detail to the rear of the land rover, made from scrap etch as I didn't want to add the shovel and pick. Not STRICTLY correct,if I may say ,Pete. ...My experience of the 'Monkeys',was that they strapped everyferkinthing on,just'so's they couldn't be criticised by us mere mortals!!!
