Ah, that they would have Mr. Bill, but it's the little details that give flavor to a model. I'll just have to post-it in the back of my brain in case there's ever a third 2C build in the future.

Flavor to a model is fine until the judges start licking it... Oh, sorry, that's not what you meant of course...yeah I hear you about wanting to have little things like that, I'm the same way. Save it in the old 'to-do' basket for the future!

Time to call an end to this one. For the pictures I threw it on one of my old bases just for kicks. The weathering is a bit more extensive than on the previous effort. The tracks gave me some problems when I tried to mount them. For some reason, a number of links kept pulling apart. I ended up having to glue 4 or 5 of them.

Anyway, here she is. Let me know what you think, and if you have any suggestions for improvements. This will be going to the AMPS Nationals in Fredericksburg this coming weekend, so if you're going, you'll see it there.

Thanks Luigi. Throwing modesty out the window, I'd have to agree with you. Of course, I have to add that I've only seen 4 or 5 completed so far.

Fantastic finish is what I have to say! 

Sometimes it's just as satisfying to see someone else build a kit you know you'll never get to because, well... you can't build them all!

Many thanks, everyone! This being only the second show I've entered since being moved up to the advanced category I really didn't know what to expect. The gold was a pleasant surprise (it didn't quite make up for the ticket I picked up in Va going to the show , but it did ease the pain a little! ).
