Speaking of which, did anybody ever read a book by Ralph Peters called "Red Army"? It's a little like "Red Storm Rising" but from the other side, might make a good GB idea, if there are any copies of the book still floating around. Good read anyway, and Leo's are mentioned quite a lot in it.

Haven't seen it, but have seen pics of the box art. Yeah, that's pretty much the deal: Tamiya supposedly bought at least two sets of molds from Tasca/Asuka, for the E8 and for the ShermanV Firefly, and from what I gather on several other forums, the prices are well BELOW what Tasca boxings were going for. Go figure. I may yet build a Tasca Sherman. After getting a look at the M2 HMG they box up, my appetite is whet, if you know what I mean. That thing is a work of art!  |

LOL!!! Im tellin your wife you said that! The only reason im really on the fence is, ive just had to buy a mattress & box springs and it set me back.....WAAAAYYYYYY Back. Hey fellas, Got the Decals on the turret. Painted diamond placard shapes on and decals on that. Glad Russ gave me several decal sets to use, had a few disintegrate till i got these 2 sorted finally.   |
