So here is the "drive wheel" update.................... Now beating the dead horse..... the drive wheels like 50% of this kit were designed as a toy. The drive wheels originally had concave portions that would take a hexagonal drive axles. These had to go. As well as the originals had no inner details. The "facing away" sides were totally smooth, lacking any details.
Here is my start

Looks like you're successfully beating some life back into the dead horse - it'll be galloping along in no time BTW, split hex nuts are available from Masterclub - and Martin does them for a very good price. Not sure what size you'd need, but they go all the way up to 1.8mm

So one of the few components I truly hated from the first build oh so many years ago was the Tow Cable take up head....well that's what I call it anyway. This part had to be semi resilient and aesthetically pleasing since it was prominent with the sporn,( spade blade).
Now I hope the pictures don't suck as much as I think they do....BUT there are 16 pieces that make up this small component...... And as I just posted to Vbruce about his outstanding 1/16th scale Matilda.....

As you know I lean more towards British-flavoured English, so it's not a term I use often - but exceptions proving rules and all that: absolutely awesome mate!

Well I did a little paint work on the 2.cm gun and mount..... it's still NOT complete both in assembly and weathering. As well as the unditching beam.
