Yes the fun has begun Bill. Deano not a speed build mate, just trying to get it ready for the show. Like I said, the fun part. The liquid mask is awesome and I plan on using this more often.

How much Butt does that kick? Well played Boss. I've got two questions for you though. Will the Airbrush thinner #70.361 work with Modelcolor or is just for Modelair? The next one is, how do you remove the liquid mask? Thanks Dude

Thanks fellas, was fun to do. Jeff, Yes I have had no issues with using the AB thinner on Model Color, Model Air and Panzer Color paints. I applied the mask with a tooth pick and a brush. The toothpick will have some mask on when your done, use that to pull and remove the mask. I nylon or soft brass wire brush will work too but you have to be careful not to scratch through the paint with brass.

You will notice in the images that I used the mask over the first base color of gray, then applied a lighter gray. This gives a better effect of peeling paint than using salt or HS.

Bill and Leon, thanks fellas. A fun little project for sure. With more time and mojo this kit could be something but I didn't want to invest all that time since it just needs some base paint etc for the show. There I will do a bit more to it. Going to try and get some base colors on the GMC this weekend.

Jeff it is an ok kit, not many kits of this subject out there. The kit needs some work, maybe PE and she's a cool little tug. Been thinking maybe scratch an older tug. Love to do a beached tanker.

I might even have to try some in the coffee this morning!! It is water soluble!! Heading to the cave myself in a minute!! Time to kick things up a notch on my end!!

What a top begin to rot the shipkit!! Love it more than all those shiny and fabrik fresh stuff right there from the production. Rust, grim and goo make it, thats for sure. Can´t wait to see you tackling this thing more in the hopefully near future.
