Nice detail touches to the figures Andy. The mirroring is odd on the Archer transfers...wonder if it's intentional (so they can distribute in Europe for example) or just a printing error? We'll likely never know...

Hey professor!
Excellent thoughts... could be for Europe. I checked the first set of flags that were stuck onto papers and they were correct. I am not going to do another attempt to get a replacement... I am so ready to call this done! LOL
Glad you liked the figures... hoping to finish them over the weekend. Feeling the itch to start a helicopter build... USS Indy will have to wait. WHY? That way I may finish my fifth build in time for the year. USS Indy alone would take me months to finish I am afraid...

USS Indy sounds like a perfect 'winter'/2015 start project for sure Andy. Can't blame you for wanting to try to squeeze in #5 for the year!

Bill- #5 is my dream number! Never went that many usually its #3 every year. Need to finish that bust first. LOL Luis- Thanks buddy... can't wait to finish them! Only need oil washes and pigments... so close! Tobi- Thanks man!!! I can't get enough from that DAK book... I look at it almost every time when I weathered the 232 or paint the figures. Interesting note how DAK uniforms rarely matched... just like US GIs!!! Dave- Thanks hoosier boy!

Update on the figures... so close to the finish line! For some reason it looks better on my hand... a friend on FB asked how big they were. LOL Pin washing with oil paint is next then pigment applying is the last thing I will do. Thanks for looking my friends!

Elco- LOL! Now you have made me in mood to raid the cabinet to see if there are some dessert I can have tonight... thanks buddy!
Leon- Thanks wizardo! Painting eyes is not exactly my favorite part but it becomes easier with experience and better resin figures now.
Applied oil washes tonight so they are drying right now... pigments will go on tomorrow. Can't wait to call this done soon!

Great work Andy. The car looks appropriately used, and the figures are coming along.
A word on your flag situation. If it's a single paneled, printed flag (as most inexpensive flags are) the back side will be a mirror image of the front. You can only have the swastikas facing the same way on both sides if the flag is made of 2 panels sewn together (or folded and sewn).

Bob #1- Appreciate... thanks man! Bob #2- That makes sense... just like US flag it can be mirror when we look the other side. So its not an error by Archer? First set was correct and now second set it is the opposite. Crazy! I am not going to replace it... I will leave it like that. Elco- That's all right I personally like dessert better than desert! OLOLOL Guys- Figures are finally done... glued them to the base last night. I am pleased to call the whole thing done. Will post more pictures later today... thanks!
