I'll use it again, just not on a large project. I ended up using one and a half bottles of silver base and two bottles of candy red (Partially because I had to repaint the saddlebags. Also, You have to put a coat of Alclad aqua gloss over it or when you glue anything it gets sticky. The silver base HAS to be applied to bare plastic so you can't do any body work and the plastic has to be perfect. I sanded down to 6000 grit and wasn't good enough - 8000 grit barely passed I sanded for over seven hours.
That looks totally gorgeous Mule, I do love that candy red. Although now I'm very sceptical about using the alclad candy range after hearing about applying it over bare plastic. That's not so simple and it usually takes long enough even when using a good primer. When you consider that it makes what you have achieved even more astounding.
