As in Hs lights and shadows applied on parts that had already painted. I already have a few more finished parts (landing gear, propeller, wheels and cockpit). I'm hoping they all stay dry. I hope you enjoy. Regards ajcmac

Looking real good... don't think I have seen one build before! Is it considered sister of Fw-190 or designed by same manufacturer? Keep in mind I know little...

Looking real good... don't think I have seen one build before! Is it considered sister of Fw-190 or designed by same manufacturer? Keep in mind I know little... for years I always felt the TA152 series evolved out of the FW190 series. But it really did not. Similar yes, and also some parts interchangeability. Yet not nearly as much as most think. The C series is a little different than the H series as it uses a wing that is similar to the FW190 D-9 (buy not 100%), plus there is a difference in the annular radiator setup due to a difference in the engines (If memory is correct). Not sure, but there may also be a slight difference in the props. The FW190D9 is the FW that Kurt Tank wanted in the first place when he submitted his designs. Had that combo hit the sky in late 1940 there would have been a serious issue for everybody else. Think about it! Over 100mph faster than the next closest rival, and with almost 7,500 foot greater ceiling! Plus being able to operate at that ceiling. To say the 152 evolved out of the D9 is easy to see on paper, but internally they are much different. gary

Thank you for your comments and explanations. A few more progress. The cockpit. I painted the propeller, missing weathering. The landing gear and wheels are ready. The landing gear doors. And for now is all. Regards ajcmac

Another good update... keep it coming! Thanks deafpanzer. The weekend was good and the Ta progressed a bit more. Getting started by painting the RLM 82 ... and then applied the fading. Regards ajcmac

I think what really is stunning to me on each of your builds is your paint work. Absolutely stunning tone variation.
