Dupes thanks for the tip .I used CA to glue the fuselage together as the Tamiya glue was evaporating to fast.Don't think this bird is coming apart.

You're a braver Man than me Leon. Using CA to glue the two halves together. I would have had the Fuselage stuck to my fingers for sure.

Why worry, each of us is wearing an unlicensed nuclear accelerator on his back.

Afternoon guys,Got a question about primer.Stopped at my LHS yesterday for more Tamiya primer and looks like they are out of business .I have some Testors semi gloss primer and was wondering if I could use it in place of the Tamiya flat primer? Any thoughts would be appreciated before I start priming this bird.

I don't know the Testors, you hardly get that in Germany.
But the Mr.Hobby/Mr.Color stuff is pretty much the same like Tamiya. Also the Vallejo Premium Black Primer in the rattle can is of good quality, I use it for figures.

That's looking pretty good with the paint work so far Leon. This one's going to have a mean feel to it with that black underside for sure. Tough break on the LHS, hopefully you can find another reliable source locally or online?

So, you went to the large airbrush cabin for this one, eh?
I noticed a jar on the back, I hope she's no tail-sitter? Any chance you get the seam on the nose less prominent, maybe some puttying with CA glue? This would make a big difference! The rest looks mighty fine.
Good luck with those pitot tubes on the wings during further handling! Should they come off try hypodermic needles instead.

Andy, almost as wide as the trash can. Bill thank you,I think she'll look a lot meaner with the camo on .I do have an online hobby store I deal with. Tobi it a was a large outdoor cabin .I'll defo take care of the nose seam and she's no tail sitter.

Evening fellas, managed to get a little detail painting done on the old girl.I'll have to post pics in the morning when i feel comfortable handling this .This bird is really being temporal mental about the pilot tubes staying on .If they break off again i'm going to re drill the hole and use a piece of brass rod for them. BTW...ordered some Vallejo camo paint for this.I used their white primer on the ECM pods and really liked how well it brushed on.
