Hi guys....Managed to flat coat Nancy and gave the tires a coat of AK tire and rubber paint.I'll post pics tomoz after she has time to cure over night.

Some pretty work there Leon!! Wish I could help you with the Vietnam dusting, but I have not had the pleasure of going down that route. Oils would certainly do the trick if you color match some reference pics first.

Leon great looking build . I've meant to add one of these to my stash since it first came out . Looks like you over came a few snags very well . By the way I like all of the trees and shrubs in the background of your outside pics .

i checked the whole live resin section today at my hobby store to see if they had the spent shells. no luck

You ever build any Friul tracks Leon ? That brass wire that comes in their sets might be about the right size .

Sorry, missed your earlier reply - the beauty of using brass rod instead is that you don't have to paint it to look like brass.

Well I'm glad to read that worked Leon .Looks good with the shell cassings laying about . Must of taken a while to paint them . You did it well . The wire in my friul sets is brass and that's why I recommended it . Maybe mine is different ? Had three sets and they are all brass wire . But any how very nice results Leon !
