Looking good with pain on in the pit. Having the open canopy will definitely show off all that nice detail!

What a great idea! I have only seen the FLEDERMAUS with closed canopy, but this here is far more good looking. And the idea with the cylinders is noticed (for the case that I will get one of this kit sometimes...hehe!) But I am in trouble: How will you paint the canopy? There has to be some maskwork to be done to get it right, right? Anyway, it would look great. I am very very curious what you will alter at the rest of this thing and the surround you will build!

Thanks fellas!
While the future is curing on the canopies I moved on to the wing/fuselage. The parts have decent detail on the outside, the inside is completly open. The area that appears to be air intakes is completly open and you can see the whole interior. So I'm working on closeing that up and adding details. More on that later. I have added more detail painting of the cockpit and a olive green wash to the seat as well a black wash to the rest of the interior. You will also notice that I have green tinted the upper glass of the rear canopy.

It would really be nice to take a flight in this anti gravitiy plane. Or is it hovering? Anyway! And intersting would it be, too, to see what details you will ad to the body of it. Maybe I should work further on my FALKE some time... your work inspires a lot!

I think it would act very much like a helicopter with the engines under the wings creating the lift. Is the FALKE the one with the gattling gun? I would like the see that one being built. Terry

Terry, it is the firs FALKE, the one with the Gattling.(I am no big friend of Beamweapons). Had already begun rebuilding the cockpit and striping the whole nozzle for extreme superdetailing (means rebuilding the whole thing). I planed to open tons of inspection doors and insert a more or less complete interior. Sounds crazy? Sure, too crazy, so I packed it in its carton and stashed it in my closet for future building. Buhu!!

Terry, you´re right! I have so much projects in the pipeline, besides two or three Maschinenkrieger builds (one of them is a -some kind of- Hoverbike, fully scratch with a relaxing pilot, self sculpted)... I have tons of figures in all scales, all sculpts of mine, from a Predator to different Aliens, from RESIDENT EVIL characters to Disney´s Uncle scrooge, from DOOM Monsters (Pinky Demon) to Monsters of all kind, so I try to be busy when I am not sitting there and watching new horror films... My wife said yesterday, I have to relax a bit. Sure, but when?
And finding inspiration here on the Board? Hell, yes!
Frank
