Thanks guys glad you like it :-) You reach different effects if you change the base color, about the clear colors don't thin it to much cant tell you how much but I think 30% thinner 70% paint will work fine.

i missed your update but as you can tell, the clears over the silvers work well. i used them on my F1 to get the anodized blue and red AN fittings. clear blue over alclad chrome makes a really nice color too. its looking great! cant wait to see more.

Hi Ron, nice work so far! Its also interesting to see how other guys hold small parts to paint them. And clear colours over silver, another great tip!
Cheers JT

Thanks john, normally for small parts I use blue tack en stick them on a piece plastic rod and place them in a plate foam. About the clear over silver, we all learn from each other that`s this forum for ;-) Some sh*t happens when I was removing the masking fluid, the orange color lifted bummer ok nice effect for a worn out model but that is not what wanted 20 minutes later I removed al the paint and was surprised that also the Vallejo primer was gone that never happens here. Now I think that on those two parts was some more molding release stuff then on the other parts there was nothing happens with removing the masking fluid. Oh well we started all over again with those parts.

Looks like the clear approach is working well Ron! Tough break on those couple of parts, you're probably right on the mold release being the culprit.

Frank I never give up :-) and for every problem is a solution.
wbill76, I`m almost sure its the mold release because its only on those two legs the big block next to it is my mistake bad paintwork from my side :-) I was in a hurry and that don't work well.

Thanks guys.
Everything also the stuff that I did yesterday is repainted and the result is a lot better then what it was. The only thing that still remained are the black bars, I'm thinking of painting them semi gloss black because I'm a little afraid to ruined the orange color again.

Thanks guys. Frank, maybe a little mud and dust chipping and rust? No nothing of that all the model stay`s clean for the moment, I`m still thinking what kind of vignette/diorame I should made for it. Nothing to do tonight so I played some music and did some more work on the DUSTbuster.

For a Base I guess, something martian style red would fit the colourfull Body. Or a JUNGLE BASE. Harhar! So far for camouflage!!
