LOL! Maybe I should start calling you Doctor Baer, huh? I think you will enjoy being speechless like me... remember I am really deaf and I don't speak that well. Just ask our friends Todd, Rob and others who I have met at the recent show. LOL

Andy, I've got enough hearing left to be able to get around 90% comprehension when I'm wearing both devices, but I still can't speak well.....

Wow, in-laws' 50th anniversary party took it out of me...... Bench time to the rescue! I'm getting to the stage where things slow down, doing stuff like hinging the commander's hatch, tools and clamps, hatch details, but it's all good.....

Oops, I goofed. Long story short, I used an early engine cover, should have used a late, so after whacking up an old Italeri hull, I have this: In place of this: The difference is where, and how many, filler caps thar be. I haven't glued the new cover in yet, want to add the mesh under the hull overhang that I forgot earlier.....

Thanks, all! Well, I got a little done Friday night, bits here and there, and I painted up inside the hull overhang and put the exhaust deflector on, since I wouldn't be able to get paint up in there otherwise. I also noticed a couple of missed opportunities to add some bolt heads on the idler mounts, so I did that too. I thing it's down to a few bits, some light stowage and the fender brackets, then primer. Woo hoo! Pics: The "up the skirt" shot: Verlinden smoke dischargers and 50-cal mount: And what should be a finished engine deck, with infantry phone:

You know what they say about Sharpies bleeding through paint? The ink will show right up under Tamiya primer. No biggie, MrSurfacer to the rescue. I also found a couple of hickies to fix, color next.

Looking good Russ.
What color will this one be?
BTW I found a Krylon color callled "Pebble" is real close to the sand gray of the 50's and 60's.

G I need to go to the local Ace Hdwre and get some more Krylon, I'll look for "pebble"... Is it flat or gloss? Color for this one will be Tamiya light sand, TS 46, should be right for Six Days War.. but if Krylon does a good color.....
