Looking good here. The nice thing with these older IDF subjects you can be heavy on the weathering on all sorts..

Schweet. The idea was that these tanks got a good re-paint during the minor reconditioning and maintenance they received soon after being purchased (?) from France, but by the time the Six Day War rolled around, had a few hours on the engines, and were burning oil like a locomotive, hence the spare oil cans on the front fenders.

The harder you sweat in here the less you gonna bleed on the special project this is a must have.

rbaer the model is coming together great. Except for the gun improvement were there other improvements with engines ETC.

Dude, so sorry to have missed this, I've been in the middle of a relocation, and am finally getting settled into the new house. Briefly, the tank I've modeled was used by the IDF pretty much as received from the French, complete with the radial engine and 76mm main gun. It was a few years later that most of these tanks were converted to M51's, with the Cummins diesel and French 105mm gun.
