Man, what can I say?? I mean, you do a masters job here, the ship is full of complex forms and seeing you handling this makes me speechless. What can I add more? All sort of jaw dropping, watching with a bumping heart this thing here. Speechless, find no more words. This is scratchbuilding at its best. I cannot wait for the superdetailing stage and I guess, all fellow dudes here think the same! Great work, gag!

Ha, glass holder, way cool! But the hell of a work to do four of the same thing. Here it would be good to have the possibility to make castings. It would be really time saving...

Hey Guys,
I love your support guys,
It means so much
But truth is kids
Daddy's getting old
Ostio-arthritis of the right wrist, i had an MRI on Friday of last week and get the results on Wednesday
I see a surgery in my future and my wife had a hernier opetration on friday so i'm playing nursey too.
but here'aaaaawazzzzzzzzabin going on, well, on and off. when i have no pain, I model,
when i have pain, i model with pain ;D
Lez go
Marked and cut the top accent of the side engine supports
Covered the inside face's of the engine supports
2 more sheets of 1/8" thk, 24" X 24" 5 sheets 0.040 (1mm) 24": X 24"
Styrene sheet
Top engine assembly layout, originally i was going to trepan this bit from a single 180 degree hemisphere but that was $75 and i would have to use someone elses shop, so i decided i had more control if i sculpted it by hand. So i made a scale drawing
Cut some segments
Glued to a base
Foam pie x 2
Glued and taped, until cured
Outer profile rings
Foam shaping
Foam sanding
Everything ready
And ........Go
Basic shaping on the belt sander
And thats it so far
MRI results on Wednesday fingers crossed....... if i can still even do that
Best wishes to the wife my friend! Never easy playing double duty!! But somethings must come first! Sorry to see/hear about the issues with the wrist too!! "When it rains it pours" kind of applies here I suppose! Hope things pan out for you guys soon!
Great job in the shop just the same!! Always great to see you mind come unleashed a bit!! Keep it going!!

Same goes for me, all the best for your bones and muscles and for your wife! Stay in health, you are needed, man! And for your progress, hell, I could watch those pics for hours, you do a great job on this ship and your work is mindblowing. As usual! What a high level here!!

Second that! All the best Gag and try to see it positive, because after this you are top notch again, for a minimum of 100 more scratchbuilds of starships! And in the recovery time, you can make plans and think about whats next! Sounds cool I think!!
Best get crackin' then!! Sorry to hear about the surgery...but get it done now and more years of quality building to come! Get what you can get done....done before, then spend the downtime in the cast dreaming and designing!!

Holler if you need LEDs, I literally by them 10,000 at a time for the shop, I will send you a care package, I have 3mm RED,Amber(yellow) Green and white. Maybe some blue will have to check.. In 10MM (Big Honkers) All clear Glass. Red,Pink,Blue,Green. I have a few 10 light adjustable Chaser circuits for contentious or random depending on how you place the LEDs and Battery Packs. 2-AAA 3V. Will need to add a resistor between the power supply and LED if you're not using the circuit. Just let me know. Send me you address in a Private Message and I will get you some stuff sent out.

Hey BJ, what a great gesture!! This is really cool!!! Gag, think of HELLRAISER: The suffering, the sweet suffering... I suffer every time I read your building report and think, would that be great to build a spaceship, too. And thats it, I leave it this way (I have an idea of something, nothing special like your stuff, but a spaceship. But I have no idea where to start and therefore, I leave it. Stay with my sculptings and figures cause I know there what to do, sniff...) Your work, it is so inspireing and detailed. Tons of work, sure, but it is so mindblowing. I know, I say always the same, but I have no more words for that. Keep it coming and SEND YOUR PAIN TO HELL!
