I really dig these markings - and am VERY interested to hear how the DXM decals work out for you. Have heard mixed reviews...and they have several sets I'd like to pick up if they're good.
I've never heard anyone want to change a Revell E to a D (rather than use the Hasegawa kit) - do you have a list of the necessary tweaks/changes?

Not yet. As far as I know the EFTs are missing and the avionics were changed. Additions, anyone?!

Huge improvement... funny how small things like bolts & nuts can make things look much better! Great work on the uniform too... hope he didn't drive you crazy?

Could look a bit better imho. A real challenge are the Hasegawa gound crew figures. Basically, Japanese ground crews look similar. But the details on some figures are pretty awful, so I had to make a choice and had to play Dr. Frankenstein. Lead wire and Milliput again here. The pilot shown here is oob from the DJ kit.

Nice job sanding... likewise I try to sand down kit parts when necessary. It always make me nervous not to breaking them!!!

Shame, shame... Yes, its been a very long time since I did something here. My mojo was a bit down, had some belly aching about the cockpit/body section, and as you can see its loads of putty work to do here - a mixture of milliput, CA glue and Mr.Surfacer and plastic profiles, that is. These are three spots only, there are more to be done all over the model. Especially the cockpit section needed a special treatment to fit - and I was forced to spread the landing gear section a bit, now its stuffed with profiles and CA glue so far. Hope it wont get worse.
