Hi Ya R.C. Yep kind of use to it now, one good thing though is it's made up of sub-assemblies. Sad part of it is i've wanted to build this one ever since I bought it more years ago than I would like to admit.
Thanks for coming by buddy Tony lee

LOL! Forgot to ask you if the gun is permanently mounted to the hull or can we remove it if I want to show my friends later on?

If there's enough spring in the casement side walls to clear the hub caps you can remove the gun. I'll have to let you know when I get that far bud.

Nice start Tony! Like Andy... a kit I've always wanted too. Maybe I'll get it for Christmas? Before I really got into armor I always thought the gun carriage was mounted in the fighting area, like most SP guns and didn't know it was actually like this! LOL Jeff

The Bison is always a fun project Tony, especially since it's about as pure 'SPG' as you can get! Looking forward to seeing you work your magic on this one.

Looking great!!! Let me guess... the metal barrel came with the kit too? If so, that's another reason we have to get this kit. LOL
Gun looking great... dig the wicker cases too!!
Stay warm my friend... saw the news you kids are expecting snow.

Coming together nicely, Tony. I imagine the guy who first proposed this set up was laughed out of the think-tank!

They had a need so you make do with what you got, right?
At least they had the forethought that if the transporter broke down the gun could be removed and put back into service.
Thanks guys Tony lee

Oh... the barrel is the right amount of 'bling' here. Seeing the rear view of the project makes the kit even more desirable now! Now, what paint will we see? Jeff

Well Jeff lets just say the base color will be panzer gray/grey. Tony lee Not a whole lot of options when it comes to these Bisons...but grey certainly tops the list! You could always do a Battle of France scheme with the one-third dark brown if you were so inclined. I seem to recall that a couple of them survived long enough on the Eastern Front to actually get repainted in DY as well!

You're so right Tex One of the Dragon schemes shows the dark yellow and light green combo. Weather wise we got a little bit of everything last night nothing real bad but there were plenty of wrecks around town for those that drive like the roads are dry. Cold and Damp and my old bones know it Tony lee
