Thanks Leon. Today I had a spontaneous idea. Some days ago I cut and sorted all spare parts in several boxes and found a 1/48 Tamiya tank soldier. Why not convert him into a steampunk officer? Yes,right, pretty similar to that bust I made recently - but a full figure, and smaller.   |

Thanks all... The "soup can" got some paint too and is ready for some dirty treatment. Means washing, pinwashing, chipping and all that fun stuff! Oh, and the barrel got an upgrade too - an additional barrel is now inside. Looks like a Browning now, but MUCH bigger.     |

@leon: Thanks, mate. @ray: My favourite ones - Humbrol MetalCote. All parts were primed black, then GunMetal and lighter colors followed. If theyre treated with a wide synthetic brush, theyll shine like real metal (because they are supposed to be polished). TRM: Many thanks again. A propos base - The Knight is a bit swaying on the base so to say - but Ill find a solution. |
