This is another kit i've had for years and with the weather like it is got it out of the stash yesterday and went to work on it. AM: Aber aluminum barrel RB brass shells Griffon interior trim PE set Friul or Modelkasten tracks (i've got both) CMK resin driver's interior set. Decided not to waste it on this model because you can't see much of anything through the open hatches. Will save it for another day. Bending and soldering up some PE tomorrow. See Ya Later Tony lee

Another fine showing on the bench Tony!! Looking pretty snazzy form here my friend!! Had me going for a minute with the title...thought the 'Weape' was some weird E-tank SPG or something!!

AHHH! Always wanted this kit... always thought it was one of cool looking SPGs.
Snow yet? Can't believe you allowed that VERY cold font move into Indiana...

"Weape"LOL Can't win them all at my age "T" Andy we had rain that turned to sleet that tuned to snow that turned to freezing rain yesterday and this morning freezing rain again. We live RIGHT down this way You better get one of these before Tamiya runs out of stock I guess I better go find Bill's and have a look see Dupes, I wouldn't want him to feel like I was a copy cat or something. Just a trip down nostalgia lane Tony lee

Another lightning fast build! 2 days? I would have been lucky to get the parts cleaned up and part of the hull built!

Just a trip down nostalgia lane Tony lee I've been slowly (when my very old memory happens to remember)gathering the pieces to build a Wespe out of the same kit you have. Have not seen it in awhile, but found a bunch of A.M. for it a few days back. Now back to this snow crap! DeafPanzer live about thirty miles north of me, and right on the southern edge of the snow belt. I sort of welcome it as it will keep me out of Golf Smith and the Fly Shop $$$! Plus every cold day moves the two of us closer to the Raymond Street get together this Spring. gary

Gary,Andy or anyone else that would like to build a Wespe lets get it on. There's a thread already started right here, there's plenty of room here in the shop and the hours are flexible. Right out of the box or all the after market you can afford it does not matter. R.S.V.P. Tony lee

I guess I better go find Bill's and have a look see Dupes, I wouldn't want him to feel like I was a copy cat or something. You'll have to go back quite a ways (like years!). Been quite a while. Bill could tell you for SURE!

Really looking forward to you working your usual magic on this one Tony! Bill! When did you do your Wespe? I'm guessing like '08 or '09...but I can't recall with any certainty.

That was a summer of 2010 build, www.bpmodels.net/Model/Album/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=48 , so you weren't off by much in your recollection Dupes.

I thought I would start in on the tracks here in a little while. The weather sure has been crappy around here, even now rain is just south of us and moving this way. Catherine fixed Black Eyed Peas,Ham and Cabbage for our New Year dinner so we're all set for a healthy, wealthy and wise year ahead. BTW she now has a pot of home made chili simmering on the stove. I'm in heaven Tony lee

Damn fine work Tony. The extra detailing brings this baby to life. I think about this kit now and then as it's one that I have yet to build, even though it's been out for ages. Looking forward to seeing the painting part.
