MSCF Table at Lancing model show

Hey all just thought i would post up a new event in the UK its a small club show put on by the Southdowns Model club in Lancing West Sussex they have a small website showing photos from last years show and the variety and quality of models looks good there is a comp on the day too.
Also i have contacted the event organisers about a possible table to show off our forum and our models they will be contacting me on friday about the table so fingers crossed we get a good result.
Hopefully we can get a small MSCF army there so if anyone is interested in helping let me no the event is on Saturday 5th of May.

Thanks for posting this up Dan. No show is too small or too big, it's what you make of it. I like the small shows best because there are less people and gives you more time to check out the models and talk to the builders. And also meet new friends.
Good luck and hope MSC UK gets a table to display. Get with jackwagon for info and suggestions if needed.

Hey Rob yeah i agree with the smaller shows are more social then the biggies i have already contacted Dicky we will be organising stuff soonish when we get the go ahead fri.
Just initial thoughts do we have any MSCF flyers going so people can check us out if not i know a printer that could set us up with a few. what do people think?

Hey Dan,flyers are not a problem,because Dicky did a load for OT in February.I'm in negotiations with SWMBO,to see if I can get there,cos it's her B'day on the 3rd!!!

Hey all just a quick update on the table situation we have been allocated 1 table i know we are used to more but it is a tiny show and they say they have not got much room 1 table is better then no table so hopefully we can get a few of us there.

It doesn't matter how many tables, so long as we are there. I am in total agreement with jackwagon when it comes to shows, especially the small ones.

Mack,we have a table pencilled in at some of the club shows down south this year mate.We did have one at OT,which went down well!!!!Just look in the events thread,that'll show you what I mean.

Hey all just a reminder on the show the doors open for us at 8.30am to set up the table and there is limited parking behind the venue so hopefully we should get a space as being there early hopefully we can get a few of us to go who's planning on going?

What a great day awesome fun there was a lot of brilliant models and i think MSC faired well we had a lot of people interested in our table hopefully there should be a few more members. The comp was interesting too i was really pleased with my 2 medals and congrats to Dicky again for more golds, Prof your models are amazing you should put more in to comps and Chris i want that Tiger!!!! hahaha

woohoo, the UK MSC Chapter rocks. Looks like a fun time and some great looking models. Congrats to the gong winners. I think we may have to start a gong thread keeping track of all the MSC wins in 2012. Sound like an idea guys and gals

Nice report and pics, Dicky! Appears to have been a lovely day:) You're going to have to build an extension on the house just to have room to display all those awards Well done fellas.

P.S. that Mk Krote (walker thingie) is huge! I want one;)
