Yeah, what to say more? Zimmerit is done perfect and the tank will be an eyecatcher when finished. I personally love pics of stuff in progress, sometimes this stuff should be left unpainted because it looks so cool!

Glad you gents like the zimmerit, thanks for that. And blimey, what a slow blog this is ey lol Time to do something about it. I've been busy working on the Panther from time to time the last couple of months. Finally some photos worth showing. First of all, what did I do? - Assembled the MasterClub tracks...much cheaper than Friuls, they look awesome, but take much more time to assemble...worth every Euro though - Added some of the provided etch, spare track hangers and such...also, I made my own handles on the engine deck from copper wire - Exhausts: the instructions state that you have to use one single exhaust and the left exhaust should be the one with the two extra pipes to the left and rigth of the exhaust pipe...however, a lot of late Panther A's seemed to not have this feature, so I used two single exhaust pipes. I also glued a small piece of stretched sprue into the drilled out exhaust ends. - Added the Aber gun barrel cleaning rod bin to the right of the hull...some soldering was involved...something which is completely new to me. - Added an Aber MG34 into the Kugelblende (MG ball mount)- ball mount is still workeable. The coaxial MG is an Aber one as well. - Commanders cupola test fitted...this received some texture by brushing on some Tamiya Extra Thin, after that I stippled the surface with a brush. That's about it I think...time for photos! Some minor additions need to be done, but paint is coming closer...whehey edit: something I forgot to mention, and which might be handy for people building this kit in the future. If you glue the brackets for the skirts in the positions according to the instructions, you can't fit the front and back skirts because the brackets don't match the holes in the skirts - a typical Dragon error ouch - So the first and last brackets were moved a couple of mm's to the front and rear...testfitting is key here! Cheers

The update's looking real good Wouter. The crossbars in the exhaust pipes are a nice, often overlooked, touch.
I know it happened in real life, so it's not that big of thing, but did you realize the tracks are on opposite one another?

Hi Leon thanks chap. Bob, thanks mate, glad you like it. Concerning the tracks. I did do some research and from what I found, the Panther tracks didn't have left and right ones, however, it was possible to add them handed (like seen on mine) just by putting the trackpins in mirrored.(I guess that's what you were referring to?) Cheers
