Bob, thanks mate, glad you like it. Concerning the tracks. I did do some research and from what I found, the Panther tracks didn't have left and right ones, however, it was possible to add them handed (like seen on mine) just by putting the trackpins in mirrored.(I guess that's what you were referring to?) I was talking about the pin, when looking at the tank from the front, is above the cleat on one side and below it on the other. This happened so, like I said, no big deal. In fact, after looking at a bunch of pictures from actual Panthers in the war, there doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to how they were mounted. It's got me curious enough to wonder if the guys in the factories even paid any attention to how they were put on.

Well, paint soon...that was a great one, from my part lol Although, paint isn't too far away anymore. Panther is pretty much finished buildwise. Just need to do the crew. Meanwhile, next update after this one will probably involve paint. But for now, some photos: Cheers

Leon, thanks bud...hope to be able to do this in a week or two ^^
Mark, glad you like it...a scheme you say Sir? Well, quite simple, since it will be a Panther of the Pz. Lehr in Normandy it will involve Dark Yellow lol
Cheers

Elco, thanks a lot chap Andy, you are falling way too fast in love lol Jäger: glad you like the A ^^ Wow, me ol' Bootseyboy is alive on the MSC Very glad to see you pop here again chap And thanks, I will paint won't be too long now. I primed her on friday and now I'm looking for some camoscheme's. I got the Archer Transfers decal sheet for Panzer Lehr Panther number 200 or 401 which were deployed in Normandy 1944. Sadly Archer don't include camoschemes like Bison and other companies do...so will need to do some more reseach first... Cheers

Nice to know that bud And whehey, paint time. Couple of days ago I primed the Panther using Mr. Surfacer 1200 After that I gave here a coat of Vallejo Model Air Dark Yellow...I like that color a lot, but my airbrush and Vallejo paints ain't buddies. So I gave up. Today I gave here a coat using Tamiya paints thinned with Lacquer Thinner...there's nothing that sprays smoother than that And since I was on a roll...camouflage today as well...colors used are Olive Green and Red Brown Well, that's all folks Cheers

Nice paint, Wouts. Good to see some progress on this one. On a side note, I've found fuel line for gas powered models works great for masking those axles. It's easy, cheap, and reusable. You can find it in a few different sizes that'll fit most 1/35 scale tanks.

Looking good with the camo on Wouts!
Nice little tip Bob, will have to check that out the next time I'm at my LHS since they have a lot of space devoted to gas-powered RC stuff.

Well...no . I'm now at the most annoying stage: painting the tools...something which I find dreadful. In the meantime I'm painting some figures for my Langemarck StuG...I did add the turret numbers though, will take a photo of that later on Cheers
