Great stuff Dupes don't you sleep? Regards, Mark Thanks Mark! And not enough, honestly. But it all boils down to that "only 24 hours in a day" thing. As far as these four, it just so happens that I was in weathering mode and all four of these hit the assembly line at the same time. During my two month gap I did a LOT of building and painting so I've got a bunch of other builds scheduled to hit the wear and tear station soon as well.

I don't know what all this weird stuff is, but I know cool when I see it. Looks like a lot of fun to be had painting and weathering them.

Stick a fork in this one - I'm calling #21 done. This is the ICM kit of the Soviet Yak-7B. I got it for three bucks. Hey, it builds up pretty well for a three dollar kit! Begemot decals to replace the craptastic kit-included ones.

And (essentially) no rivet counters to be found, either. So long as you stay somewhat within the Ma.K realm you're good to go. Quite liberating, actually!

Sounds like he's about to unleash a flood gate of completions! Yippie!
You can't beat a $3 kit. Certainly doesn't look like a $3 build.

Haha. Didn't mean anything by it. "Not a $3 build" is my MO too. Sometimes I succeed.

They really want to go to WF? Man...I need to try to get back there then so I can accost you in a TIE Pilot costume.

Tried to get a cockpit shot, but that opening is pretty darn small. And yes - the prop blades were NMF on the forward side, flat black toward the pilot to cut down glare.

Thanks Leon! The NMF came out pretty good, I think. Will get more adventurous with panel shading on the next one.

Nice work on #22 Dupes! Careful about expanding into new territory...you know the inevitable will happen. I managed to avoid it for nine years BECAUSE I knew exactly what would happen! Gotta go rearrange some of the stacks downstairs...
