Got to love the work on that storage box, nice! I hear you on the tracks, those are about as tight as you can get without breaking something!

PE box is H-U-G-E improvement over the kit supplied box. Worth the sweat and money...

Good evening gents, Yesterday my metal tracks arrived. I was not sue, weather they fit on the SU-100. But tey fit perfectly. I think the kit has some track links more, than needed. Perfect to add on the tanks front... It`s very time-consuming, building it together. But the result is just fantastic!! There are two different types of resin bolts. One with a kind of screw and the other one is just a short strand of resin. I used only the bolts and added 0,5mm metal wire on the other side. Man, the tracks look great on her now!!! I assume you prefer that over Friuls? If so, I should give it a shot and I hope it is a lot cheaper too?

A good result. I have seen many products of this company - a little marriage and good casting, as resin and metal.
Matt - for the aging of these tracks (to use a resin bolts) should not use aggressive chemicals. Such as vinegar. I do not remember for sure, but I think I read that the resin bolts lose strength. Only the paint. But maybe I'm wrong, correct me if this is not the case.

deafpanzer: normally I use the friul tracks, but this kit was a bit cheaper as the friuls. That's the only reason. The resin bolt looks good, but I prefer the wire to link the tracks because it's more stable. @serzh: thanks for that tip. I think these chemicals are some kind of acid, so the resin bolts will be destroyed. But I think I will only use airbrush and pigments and maybe some washings.

Bond strength of resin bolts good enough .. If you do not try to break specifically. I do not remember exactly, but to the assembled ribbon hung load - 2 or 3 kilograms. But still, it is better not to take risks and act carefully.

Matt - good job. Additional fuel tanks will be installed? My opinion - they look interesting.
Good luck and success with paint!

Serzh - thanks, my friend. I am not sure with these fuel tanks. After many weeks of thinking about the color scheme, I decided to make a german Beutepanzer. The most of them had no fuel tanks (on the original photos in the net) I will add some other stuff on the tank holders - like an old wooden plank and a german tarp. Maybe some "normal fuel tanks". What do you think about the missing detail on the cannon? Normally there is a round plate with 4 screws on it. Would you add these missing part?

I did not notice that he was not (((If you make steel "umbrella" - then the hatch do not necessarily. But if the "umbrella" is missing - you need to do. And in the same segment of the loop

Thanks for the great picture. I wanna show the SU-100 without the steel umbrella. So I have to make this detail, yet.
