Serzh - do you have any idea, how I could make these nut (maybe out of styrene??) Previously, unable to buy the nuts and bolts MasterClub, looking for a donor. The old model, which accurately cut the necessary elements. If such a model is not - there is a way to make yourself nuts. Plastic rod (a lot of them remains after construction) to make a hexagon, and then pull over the fire, and cut the nut desired thickness. n the photo the nuts from the donor, cut from the wheel pz38t PS I advise you not to torment the vision, and make everything easy way. Pull over fire plastic rod, not hexagonal and round. And cut imitation nuts. They are small enough (0.6 or 0.7 mm), I think the fact that there is no cut will not be noticeable at this size.

Soo... The first color is on the SU-100. Now it looks like a russian tank, but I will add more color on it. I tried some color modulation, too. Some highlights wer painted by brush. Next step will be a coat of varnish and then a camo pattern with a sand color... 5DMKII_32106 by mad_airbrush, on Flickr 5DMKII_32111 by mad_airbrush, on Flickr 5DMKII_32114 by mad_airbrush, on Flickr

That looks awesome Matt!! Some really great ones to the painting! As for those bolt heads, they do sell hex rod in various sizes. Not sure exactly where, but I do know it exists..LOL!! Down the road there is one of the die sets that you can use. RP Toolz sells a really nice one and cost wise is less than other ones out there. One does hex and another round. I have both of these and from a scratch standpoint, essential if you could get your hands on one or both my friend!

Matt - hi! Camouflage is definitely a success! Indeed, self-propelled silhouette blurred. The outlines are not sharp, it is 100 percent fulfilled its function!

Chipping might be a little heavy, but I suppose it depends on what you're going to do with the rest of the weathering. Great build!

Dupes - I had the same feeling with the chipping. But when you see the next stage, you have maybe another opinion... Later I will post some new pics of the tank.

Good evening gents, the last days were dusty and rusty... I have made the dust effects on the tank and I startet with the dirt on the wheels and the tracks. The tracks are not finished yet. I added some color to the tank - a german flagg, which looks out of the tool box. With the dirt on the wheels I am still a bit unsatisfied. 5DMKII_32363 by mad_airbrush, on Flickr 5DMKII_32365 by mad_airbrush, on Flickr 5DMKII_32368 by mad_airbrush, on Flickr 5DMKII_32370 by mad_airbrush, on Flickr

Starting to come together Matt! Weathering tracks and getting dusty/dirty looks is always a little bit of a trial and error process until you get the right combination for the look you're after.

A real looker Matt. While not the cheapest solution for your nuts... wait, that sounded bad... take a look at www.scalehardware.com/ They really look amazing and if the area that needs some improvement is fairly prominent can be worth the added skin.

After so many days, I think the tank itself is finished. I am not sure, whether the dirt and mud is completely finished. What do you guys think? It should look like dried mud. I will add some more details to the tank, to give it more of these german "Beutepanzer" - look. Next step will be a tarp on the rear section. Maybe I will add some fuel tanks or other stuff on it. Here are some pictures of it... 5DMKII_32393 by mad_airbrush, on Flickr 5DMKII_32395 by mad_airbrush, on Flickr 5DMKII_32401 by mad_airbrush, on Flickr 5DMKII_32402 by mad_airbrush, on Flickr 5DMKII_32409 by mad_airbrush, on Flickr 5DMKII_32411 by mad_airbrush, on Flickr 5DMKII_32416 by mad_airbrush, on Flickr 5DMKII_32428 by mad_airbrush, on Flickr 5DMKII_32432 by mad_airbrush, on Flickr
