WOW, looks like a fantastic Bust G!! I have to troll more on the Andrea site I think!! Looking forward to you hitting the bricks running on this one!! Hope you feel better soon too!!
Seems like half of Belgium has had this damn viral infection! Second day for me and it's enough...Hope you are on the mend. On the positive side though seeing busts such as your choice have lifted my spirits!! I have seen this particular bust at a show a while back, it is a fantastic one mate. Looking forward to seeing you bring that battered war look to life! Shay
Guy, is one of my favorites, too, hope, one day, to attack. One of my Romanian friends finished last year, so I'm sure it will give a lot of satisfaction. Have a good start! Nic
Shay, it was the amazing painted war look of the box art that completely seduced me ! About the viral infection, I still have to deal with it, even after five days of heavy anti biotic medication. Tomorrow I'll go to work and sacrifice myself in a way, I can't stay sick at home forever.
Today I start cleaning and assembling the parts, right after breakfast tsjakkaaaaaa !
Have a nice weekend ! AG.

The white metal parts and the resin bust were cleaned.
There was a seam on his back so I had to smoothen this which wasn't difficult with a round knife tip and sanding paper.
And I gave the resin part two grey Humbrol enamel base layers, the first very thin by soft brush, the second by airbrush with low air pressure to avoid a rough texture.
Best regards ! AG

Good start Guy! I really have a soft spot for this bust, my girlfriend will kill me if she sees yet another package arrive though hehehe I have two 35cm resin figures arriving tomorrow and unfortunately for me there is no way in hell they will fit into my stash box!! Looking forward to seeing the rest of your creative process, Shay
Great choice Guy , this is one of my fav busts .. the facial expressions are excellent plus the rough look of the face ... looking forward to your top drawer painting !

I agree... working on eyes always make me nervous thats why I always wait til the end but often I found myself re-working on the skin around the eye again. No kidding!
He is really starting to take shape Guy! I also prefer to get the eyes out of the way first...in the starting phase it is much easier to get the eyes sorted out in one go, any mistakes are dealt with fast. No relation to Schultz from Hogans Heroes??hehehe Shay
