Guy IS for raising the bar! Old used leather, battle worn, brittle, perfectly done, Guy! Awesome work you did here my friend and it is always a joy to watch with what you come up with. You might even paint a wooden crate and it would look fantastic, hell, yes!

Thanks friends ! Today I added the sword to the belt and also the helmet was completed with the chin straps. I'll add the laces of the shirt. More leather works, more metal works and stuff tomorrow. Sorry for the rather unsharp photo, I'll make another one withbright daylight very soon ! Best regards ! AG.

Shay, LOL, but yes, I'm planning to sell my AFV's (or most of them). Andy, the Busty Man sounds...eh...no thanks LOL ! Ron, thanks mate ! After a good overnight drying on the radiator, it's ready for another round of painterizing. I hope it's not getting boring as I have the idea I'm stalking you with my knight...but it's such fun !

Hehe, guy, if you are a stalker, then go on stalking! Can´t get any better, this bust rocks without end! Another gem in your collection and our eyes!
Deaf, don´t buy one, collect them all! The busts of Young are the best around. They have NO failed bust in their collection, my fav is the SS Machinegunner, outstanding! The faces, what is the most important part, are unbelievable, as seen here on guys figure!

Guy, stalk us some more! Stunning Guy, you are creating a very realistic and artistic approach in your style of painting. When a figure or bust starts to look like it is coming alive you know you are on the right track...not an easy feat to pull off sometimes! Enjoy your weekend brother!

Looks sooo real, especially the leather... Maybe a tiny bit more contrast on the cheeks for a tick more of contrast?! But what di I know - its your decision at the end of course. Like that bust a lot!

Thank you guys, you know how I appreciate your words, they mean so much to me. Recently I had an idea to easily create old, cracked leather and I want to share it with you with pleasure, but be warned, it's easy and it works for me. Step one is to purchase these decorative leaves, I found them in a shop for home decoration : : The structures look great : Step two is to read the text on the picture : This is the result : Tomorrow the final pics, best regards, AG.

Now that's a neat way to achieve texture AG...very realistic and has just enough randomness courtesy of nature to give it a perfect non-pattern pattern! Very cool

Great guy, really impressing! But a few questions: What colour do you use for the cracks? I think it depends on the colour of the leather part? And what do you think about the scale effect? Do you mean it is possible to do this on 54mm figures??
Looks awesome!!!

Frank, for the cracks I applied a mixture of raw ocre + white + a tadd of ultramarine blue. I'm afraid it won't work on 1/35 scale figures but it's always worth thrying.
Andy, Martini ? Anytime !
Leon, thanks my friend.
Bill, indeed the structures are 100% random and after drying another print can be made on the leather part.
