Hello again fellas!! Yup, at it again!!! This time I have a Celticwerks base I confiscated!! Rob had done such a nice review on the piece I decided to steall the piece before he could finish it and see what I could do!!! Remember, possesion is 9/10ths of the Law. A quick recap of what is being used. The base.... This is a great piece!!! Available from Celticwerks at www.celticwerks.net/products/ Price: Item number CWSo12, $25.00 USD plus shipping. Inquire at info@celticwerks.net Back to the build.... When I snagged this from Rob, he had begun to paint the brick....very nice, sice this is one less step!! ;D Now it's my turn.... I picked up some new paint and began to mix. Thinning the paint to wash consistancy Randomly I applied the different colors like the wwhites and lighter brick shading. Basically mixed a number of the base colors with white and blacks to give me the tones. I repeated this with the darker colors as well. Next came a light wash to the concrete for starters. After highlighting the cobblestone and stone work on the sidewalk, this is where its at for the moment. By now I think you know that I am never "just finished"...a lot more to come soon!!! Thanks for stopping by!!!

You can't go wrong with any one of these from Celticwerks!!! My next one wants to be the uneven road section!!! A little update. I gave a light wash to the entire sidewalk with AK Brown Blue Wash. I then applied light costs of Panzer Grey Streaking grime and Kurks Earth Effects to different stones and finally some Streaking Grime as a sort of pin wash to the joints between the stonework and some staining on the wall. More layer to come!!! Thanks for having a LQQY!!

Thanks spud!!! So much you can do with these!! There are a few of Steve's "werks" going in right now and the possibilities seem endless!!! Thanks Chris!!! I have and do sir!! Just working some AK this time around and seeing what I can do with ti!! Thanks Paul, glad you like it!! Thanks for stopping by Mack!!! A little more progress... I began to play around with some little additions to help bring this one to light. Last night I dug into some white stuff and scratched out a window. Of course you can't have a broken window without some glass. The top left pane is Krystal Klear (still drying) The other pieces are plastic from a blister pack of finish nail for one of my nail guns. Next I began adding some more to the sidewalk. Using AK's European Dust pigment I began "filling in". You can see I added some paint to the window. Using some tongue depressors I cut up from framing timber and had at it to add some destruction to the inside. That's it for the moment. Back at it a little later on today!!!

No Dicky...she has her own pad!! Here is what I am thinking.... I picked up the set at the last show for $4.50 USD, nice bargain. I am confident it will be the 3rd dude from the left. Little bit of a seam to fill. I chopped off the hands and made some extensions to the wrist/arms. I hollowed out the sleeves and the collar. I extended the neck a little in the same fashion as the hands as well. Here is what I am seeing. The head is a little more movable for the moment. Need to decide what I like better. Not sure what I am thinking working on two figs at the same time but I will roll with it!! Thanks for stopping by and having a peek!!
