I couldn't help myself. I started assembly on the MG pedestal mount for the SandStalker. Assembly was very straight forward with very little clean up.

I have been making a lot of progress but taking very few photos along the way. But here are some interesting ones if you have the kit and have been wondering about how to construct the frame antenna. The antenna is two pieces of 1.5mm brass tube formed and soldered together. The seams are at the saw marks. The shrapnel screens are very nice multi piece layered assemblies. The solder fixture also had simple features to locate a #75 drill bit. I could not believe it worked

Thanks. It was all so I could do this. Most pins are just temporary for now. Everything needs a cot of primer before assembly. I hope to start taking decent photos again. For now, phone shots are going to have to do.

Everything else just kinda pops into place. The antenna was the real technical hurdle. Glad it's out of the way.

Is this one done by the same company as the model you've just finished? Any leftover parts you could incorporate here?
I still can't believe this is resin. It's a whole other level compared to what we've come to expect from even very good resin companies.

John - Yes, same company. Hexamodel.com. This kit comes with more extras than the first one. I'll have plenty left over from this kit. The quality is as good as it gets for a "garage kit". The details are crisp, flash free and only an occasional pin hole bubble.
Thanks Dupes and Deafpanzer.

Thanks. I found some really nice nano LED sets to add to the interior. Tempted to add one for the head light but not sure if it is worth the hassle.
