Now that you're positively PE infected, on the next 251 you will build the rear doors from brass as well and simply solder the racks on!

Evening fellas! After the day I had today I thought I would post a small update.Just put on the clear coat as the humidity finally went down.I'll let this cure overnight and put the decals on tomorrow.Also started on the detail painting.

Evening fellas! More progress from last night and this evening.Decals ,MG and final clear coat are on.The 251 is shaping up nicely.Going to attempt to add the antenna tomorrow and then the fun can begin.Just realized I need to put the caps on the front wheels.Hope you like the progress.

Afternoon fells! In between checking on the new drain progress I managed to start on the antenna.After about an hour of thinking how to install this I decided to tape the supports to the hull and glue the antenna to them.I'm going to let the glue cure for a few hours and then glue the whole assembly to the hull.So far it's looking good.Hope to have more pics later.

Looks like a good approach with the antenna Leon. The markings always add a nice touch to a build as well, getting closer to the finish on this bad boy.

Afternoon fellas! The drain crew is back again today do to a big problem yesterday.So another day off work and made some progress on the 251.Antennas were painted and glued on with no issues.Time to decide on some type of weathering.Hope you like.

Morning guys! I want to do a was on this and need some help with a color.The base color is German grey.Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can find pre-mixed washes for it from a couple of different companies. Personally, I use an artist oil color called "Paynes Grey". It's a very dark bluish grey that's perfect for bringing out panel lines and details.

I'm sure other's will have their own solution.
