MENG – Drink Bottles for Vehicle/Diorama (Supply Series) Kit # SPS-002 in 1/35th Scale By Shawn W. Gehling If you are looking to add more realism to your modern AFV or diorama this is a great kit to have. The kit comes with sixteen (16) various sized water bottles cast in a clear plastic. The only thing that I can think of that would make these better is if they came with decals for water companies. But I’m sure that I can find an emblem to print from the computer. I have some Middle Eastern water bottle boxes that I downloaded a few years ago, that will be just great to put them in. The only thing you have to do is cut them off the sprue and paint the caps white (or if you really want to go crazy you can always use a pin vice drill and open the mouth of the bottle and maybe use some acrylic gel and make your figure drinking or pouring water out of the bottles. The Kit: Contains 1 plastic bag with sixteen (16) various sized water bottles four (4) of each size/shape cast in a clear plastic. Conclusion: If you plan to build your next diorama in any modern setting. This “Drinking Bottles” set will really go well with it. Check out their website www.meng-model.com/ to see what other items (models or supplies) they have that can really make your diorama come to life. I highly recommend this set of Water Bottles for anyone who enjoys building dioramas and needs to keep their forces hydrated. I purchased this set at my local hobby shop called “Galaxy Hobby” (in Lynnwood, Washington USA) galaxyhobby.com/. The price was $9.99 which I think is a great value.

These are always great little add-ons for any build Shawn!! Thanks for posting your review! I would like to see them think about adding some label of some sort even though printing your own is not too difficult nowadays!! Pretty cool stuff just the same!!

I made blue labels that just say Spring Water for this type bottle to be printed on decal paper. Also Gulfa labels if you're doing something from "The Sandbox". If you want it let me know.

Yap, those water bottles are really great! Remember the Verlinden stuff decades ago, cast in yellowish resin? What an improvement here. I mean to remember that there is something similar from PLUS MODEL from Poland, but with labels inclueded. Due to liscensing, the names are a bit different, like "Pupsi Cola" and similar. Anyway, allways great add ons! Thanks for showing, Shawn!
