I'm a bit burned out with my BTR,so I put it aside for now.I wanted to get involved in this Group Build so I pulled this one out of the stash. It does have a version which appeared on the Eastern Front in 1941

Cool! These build up into nice models. Be sure to do a lot of dry fitting, I did not on mine at first and suffered for it later

This is a great kit. Mine is halfway completed, back in the box for the time being since I plan to complete it as a Hungarian tank and they didn't get them until 1942. Time permitting, I have a Tristar kit I will build as a Slovak tank from 1941.
The only area I found difficulties was with the engine deck. One panel had a slight gap, which I suspect was self-inflicted. Carefully fit each part before attacking it with sandpaper to remove material. Sometimes a bit of flash is useful.
The tanks were all grey, but there is some variety in markings. The 7th, 8th, 12th, 19th and 20th Pz.Div. were equipped with the type for Barbarossa.
Enjoy. It's a fun kit to build.
Regards Scott Fraser

Nice choosimg, T. Good idea swintching models from time to time, it helps to not get "overcooked" by a particular build... I think this 38 (Dragon) must be a little gem, just from watching some of the pics. I built a 38 (Italeri ULTRABASIC one) back in the eighties and, as simple as that model was, I loved it... a small & cocky AFV... See you around, Later Tony : ) Jelly
