Looks great.. The Links would work great until I saw how much they are.. For one kit they're not to bad.. But I figured I would need 10 sets...so $560... I think I will have them 3D printed. ahh yeah dont blame you there!

No travel-bench? Hoooo boy...you need to rectify that, especially if you're away from home for that long. Hotel building!
Hahahah. That reminds me of the time Boyd decided it would be a good idea to rattlecan flat coat a build in our hotel room bathroom the night before a contest. Note to the wise - don't do that if you value your brain cells!

lol dupes, ive remedied that issue! small update. this CF decalage is a lot of work. i had to custom cut a bunch of pieces cause the pieces are so complex. but its been worth it. keep in mind these are way zoomed to show detail so you can see everything. they look MUCH better in person. they arent clear coated yet either. waiting for the decals to be good and dry so i dont trap any liquid. Heres the most complex piece, naked. rawr. As you can imagine, you cant just cut big pieces and hope it falls into place, even with decal set. So waht i did was i put tamiya tape on the piece i want to make a stencil for, and then trace the curves with pencil. Then i cut the tape into its shape, then put it on the CF decal. Then cut the decal, and appply with MicroSet (I find Microsol to be way to harsh, it melts the decals. Its best for a flat surface. Heres the pieces required just for this piece Heres the finished piece (sans clear). Again, its way zoomed in, its much better in person. Another Piece. This was easier, it was about 8 pieces. I have a lot more stuff painted as well. Im on the road during the week so i forgot to take pics. Once all the CF is done, it should come together quick.

I wish i had a good story like i was cooking meth in my 80's winnebago while also catching up some modeling and i spilled sulphuric acid on the kit, thus ruining it.
but alas, i do not. Someone, who wasnt me, spilled a thing of strong thinner (maybe acetone?, i wasnt there so) into the kit box and didnt notice. I went to go finish it and it was all warped and melted and the decals were all messed up. Wasnt worth salvaging.

Sounds like someone, who isn't you, isn't going to get any prezzies from Santa this year (or ever again)
