Hm, I have read complete other reviews of this kit in diverse forums. They were all not so amused about the detailing of the kit and how the parts fit... What me interests the most are the Zombie faces, how they are look. I will definitly buy this set because it provides cool basic figures for superdetail purposes (but a WWII motorcycle on the cover does not fit soooo well, I think!) And, to be honest, the Alice figure is not my piece of cake because it has nothing to do with the games, so... Ah, Deaf, if you like to get some hurting action visit some special pubs here and say something like "Ich bin ein Kölner und finde die Düsseldorfer blöd!" (means something like I am from Cologne and do not like the people from Düsseldorf! and bingo! got some cool new blue and green patches in your face, maybe loose some teeth... Hehe, I am from Cologne, living here for several years now and have SEEN that I guy from Cologne got his face a bit polished because he wanted to have some beer from Cologne ("Kölsch!) in a pub here at Carneval (We here drink mostly "Altbier" which does NOT mean it is old!) So it is wise to think before what you will order, muharr!!

Well I want to thank Shawn for taking the time to give us a little review of the kit...on his own dime too.! I hear ya Andy!! Of course I see a more Scarlet Johannsen riding the bike...but we can't have everything! Some how I knew you might weigh in on this one Frank!! Of course the bike was the last thing I thought you might focus on..LOL!! With this kit I look at it on more or less two ways...a moderately priced kit 1/2 if not 2/3 of the modellers out there can buy and enjoy assembling basically for the fun of the hobby. The other thought, there is the base kit factor. This gives the percentage of folks that are will to play around with modifications a chance to set up a scene like this without breaking the bank or going full sculpt. The kit is a bit soft in many respect but for Fun? Plenty of potential I think. As for for that bike...LoL!! I would think post apocalyptically she raided a local war museum and grabbed something is good condition and great on gas. I would have went for something a bit more armored with air conditioning!!

Cool review and I agree with you Todd. It's a great starting point for your own personalized project I do get Franks point on the motorcycle thou. On the other hand if a bike under water for so many years looks like this: it basically indestructible.

Ha, Lukasz, this bike is CRISP!! And crunchy so to say. Very cool pic this is (might say Yoda, the Jedi Master. Notice, I have seen the new STAR WARS trailer and it is a shere wonder that I haven´t collapsed. Check it out and feel your childhood again like me. This IS Star Wsrs!!)
Todd, agree totally! The Masterbox sets are really great in general, very well detailed figures with lots of assessories (for the military stuff) and to tell the truth, such a Zombie Set was not possible some years ago! And please don´t get me wrong, Shawn did an excellent job reviewing this kit; I haven´t seen it till yet and, to be honest, some of the reviews I have read are from people who are nagging all the way. Nothing is good enough for folks like them and to respect what they have written is sometimes a bit difficult! They even criticise Alpine or Dragon figues, to get both Resin and plastic, and I for myself am really happy to see kits like this here coming to life. I will definitly have two or three sets of them to make a little horde. And maybe will do a single Alice on a more sophisticated bike (I think I have that Dragon set with the Marines and the bike somewhere in my stash...) and this will come in handy! So stay tuned! There will be more Zombies in the future (btw, Deaf, just an hour ago I have got the last 8 episodes of the new THE WALKING DEAD season and am the hell of curious who will die of the leading characters!
Cheers, Dudes,
Frank

I build the MB Zombies and the MAIM Zombies. The faces from MB are not bad, but not as good as the MAIM faces. They look like living prople, not like dead ones. But the poses are great.
