Luigi I sort of charged of a bit ,but I will answer any questions Deano thanks its a combo when done between Snow, ice/snow and ice I did a snow Diorama a while back and I have planed for a while a T80 now THE T80 I HAVE SCRATCHED AND BASHED is ok but the snow hides a few minor errors to late to adjust.. I have a work shop Diorama planned later were I will use the new Trumpeter kit. right then I needed to keep this simple and effective slight angle to the diorama was needed. I then got some Mini art wall sections made my wall added a few touches set out some foam board cut it to look like large concrete slabs. . DSC09176 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. Well I can here the well its a wall ......great......and? The wall was sprayed with Halfords Red Oxide weathered with AK products the concrete was painted with warhammer fortress grey. Mac

Ok I guess just putting the wall up was a bit mean , as said this is on going, but even something as simple as this diorama base can give great results. First up I wanted to add some colour other than white. . Once wall was painted on with the hairspray mask off and on goes the flag. . DSC09182 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. .Bit of rubbing and off we go still micro work to do on it. Now the detail gang would have seen the track. . DSC09180 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. I thought these old rubber band jobs scrubbed up well. . DSC09181 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. .And the other pile.

So quick re cap from this. . DSC09176 by macmcconnell, on Flickr .to this . DSC09177 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. I still have loads to add and trim but stick with it. . DSC09179 by macmcconnell, on Flickr. . I do have to now start adding the weeds and over growth that would appear no to much but enough to give the appearance of elapsed time. Rgs Mac

You're capturing the look/feel perfectly on this one Mac, all you need is to start typing your posts in Russian to complete it!

Thanks Bill
Just another splash of colour. I never cut out the plastic that was in the door way I just aged detail to the plain plastic from the vac form.

Appearantly I had to catch up on this one Mac !!! But man I am enjoying this. The diorama wall looks fantastic and the door pics made me think they were reference pics. Not many modellers have the guts to go for an icy/melting snow look.
