Always next month Dupes! Be thankful you have some rain! LOL!! As much as it sucks keeping everyone inside and wreaks havoc on the painting it would be a nice change of pace down here! Working on my own private desert in the yard! Do you guys not get news about the rest of the country up there? Must not because it seems insensitive to be talking about rain with all these Texas folks around. Kidding of course. We have managed to not flood. The rest of the city...not so much.

Truly a sad situation you guys have to go through. Never easy...feast or famine! Either does not rain at all or you get rains of biblical proportions! I suppose the same would go for Tornadoes in the mid-west with semi-drought conditions up here. Nothing insensitive implied...LOL!! You guys were basking in the 70's when we were buried under 10 feet of snow....never ending battle against nature! We'll never win that fight on any front!

No no...I didn't take it as insensitve...just making jokes It's been pretty bad here in Houston. I think we are up to 10 deaths...and that's just insane that rain has killed people...I mean some of it is just unecessary risk taking...people don't understand how powerful water can be. Somehow though it's not been an issue where we are at. My wife went to work all week without going through a puddle while some of her co-workers were mandatory evacuated...go figure. I'll take the rain...you keep the snow

All good Jimmy...didn't think it either way..LOL!
That is a pretty bd situation down there. Worst thing aside form the loss of life is what's in the water. Some folks look at it as "oh, it's a bunch of water"...as you know, it isn't! Basically a big toilet with construction materials floating around in there! I have to agree in some part about the "unnecessary risk taking". Thinking they can drive through it or even ride it out inside their houses is plain stupid. Nothing I have outside my wife and kids is worth taking the chance. Nature can be quite the beotch!
