Great idea and build here, Chris! Your detailing is amazing and I hope, this time, for some figures and added on details like some canisters, packs etc. But one hint: Do not overdoe the amount of guns on it. I think, less could be more in this case! And the beast cries for a muddy base with the tracks soaked in with mud, mud, mud! Maybe some concrete barriers or "Spanische Reiter"?

Chris goes figures! The uniforms should be easy - but the faces wont be. What colors will you use? Their eyes are wide open, so there should be some pupils. Try to paint the eyes first, and dont use pure black for the pupils (best should be a lightened black, lightened with green, brown or what you like). www.youtube.com/watch?v=no2zBike6Q0

Depends. A good choice is car primer - light grey or white instead of expensive brands. Works fine too. As long as you know that you paint the pupils first (like shown in the video) its all fine. IMHO the blending is the most difficult part, and the choice of colors. Im no professional painter too and Im a bit struggling with the skin tones here and there. Its all about practice. Just have a try, and youll get better with every figure.

Hmmm. I really dont want to use words like "must", "should" or something... But I find that the highly detailed figures definetely need some more work. Especially the skin tone is wrong. You know me, Im struggling with that by myself from time to time, and its really not too easy. Choose a basic color which you like (a reddish skin tone is a good choice) and lighten it up with more white. Paint the eyes first. Those pupils are difficult too. A toothpick helps here, just remember that you dont use black. Again: no one is perfect, including myself. Maybe we can paint some figures together at the expo in some weeks.
