Thanks guys, very kind. Boo, they're not that good, it's amazing what can be hidden under a shiny coat of paint! The Krote though, I do like that, I particularly like the genre, huge potential for scratch building, super detailing and some way out there paint jobs and weathering. Ma.K has a fairly much recognised scale of 1/20 although it is available in smaller scales. Being 1/20, it comes out a good size, the Krote standing between 200mm and 230mm high depending on how you have it standing.

Sorry for the late response Boo, very rude of me.
1/20 is a scale pretty much dominated by Formula 1 models so you can adapt some of the figures etc. from that otherwise it's scratch or the parts box.
Because the line between what is acceptable and what isn't in Ma.K modelling is somewhat blurred, you're fairly free to use any spare parts in 1/48 and 1/35 as I did on Krote, nothing too excessive, just enhancements, especially to the engine.
There are Ma.K specific figures in Styrene and Resin out there but you need to search for them, love it or hate it, Ebay is your best start. Avoid low cost Resin figures (£8-£10), often they're simply not worth it. Ma.K is big in Japan, it's home Country, you rarely find a U.K. dealer with stock and if he has, the prices are the high side of stupid! HLJ has limited stocks of it, otherwise Ebay...

Chaps. Latest from the Prof production line, Tamiya's wonderfully engineered 24th scale Lexus LFA.
