Oh no! Deano has cracked open the dreaded 4BO can of worms rofl-roll Have a read of this and this In a nutshell: it appears that when new 4BO was the approximate equivalent of FS 34257 darkening with age to FS 34095. You can check out here what those colours look like. SU's looking fine BTW.

A SU-85! Nice! A T-34 variant! Nice 4bo green variant deano. I have four 4bo green variants in my stash (still looking for the testors variant to complete my collection). I have done some extensive research over the years on this color. The saying it went darker over age, is a myth... The color also changed in 1947. So we have two types of 4bo green. Unfortunaly, people try to referend to color photo's of 1948 or the 1950's for WWII reference. This is not the right reference. I have the Akan colors. These are regarded as the "best" or the "one and only" 4bo green. If this is right, and you want to mix paint, its very important what brand and type of paint you use. Acrylics can have an other "look"than enamel paints. Even when mixed with exactly the same formula. Clear as mudd isn't it?

The version in the box is a SU-85M. This due its cilinder commanders turret bulge on the right side. The "regular" SU-85 had the SU-122 layout. The inside of the doors were 4bo green, not red.
Oh no! I have turned in to a "rivet nagger"... Nice work by the way deano!

Deano - hi! I admire your ability to paint the model at this scale! You might think that this is 35, 48, but not 72 ... BRAVO !!!
