Lol. Neat stuff...odd scale choice though...I mean most pin-up photos I see are with airplanes...maybe I'm biased? Cool review though. I'm sure Andy will grab a couple sets

LOL..would be a good one fro Andy...yes indeed! I have to guess that MB hits the 1/32 stuff pretty hard and they just rolled with it. But to be honest, 1/35 is not that far off from 32nd ...I think you could get away with it!!

Cool review from Shawn, as always. I think the figures are quite good (how´s about the faces?? Anyone has seen them?), but the poses and the general design are not usable for my kind of modeling. They are way too special for me, but I would love if Masterbox could do something more, how to say it? "real" and "more usable", means more "normal" woman in realistic clothing with "normal" shapes (why not doing fat figures, or real skinny one´s??) With something like that the modeler can do a little bit more...

Thanks Todd! The best is the third and the forth seems to be Bozo the Clown. Or Binky the Dude, not exactly visible (muharr!). OK, very soft, exchanging them with Hornet stuff. And sculpt the Bodies by myself. But why buying them in this case! But anybay, Applause for MB for coming up everytime with something you would not expect. That´s really cool!

True...could probably get away with them if I wanted to use them...I just don't know if I can paint a figure...lol Just give it a try. You can build very beautiful planes, and airbrushing skin tones is not that hard as it seems. In this scale, you can use decent reddisch washings too, and thats all. Or you go large first, if you dont dare 1/35ies.

I... MUST... MUST... MUST... BUY... THIS!!! Have an idea for perfect diorama... Told yall. Lucas, thanks sir. I absolutely want to try a figure someday. Probably of the lady pin-up variety. But they are pretty spendy for a noob. Just glad I've got all you experts to lean on for guidance.

I am SO having these as soon as they turn up at my favourite purveyors of plastic; not so much for their intended purpose but because they appear to be readily converted for other uses. The standing "Soldier" is pretty much ready to go as a Post-apocalyptic figure with a change of weapon and headgear. Or perhaps a change of head: the seated girl with long hair appears to have her hair as two separate parts and if this means the head is bare (as in shaved) it would be suitable for a “Furiosa” style figure, or a punk with a Mohican (shades of "Tank Girl"?). The heads of both these figures appear to attach to the neck just below the jaw line so a head swop would seem feasible. Other points of note are that the figure depicted with a drum Majorette’s baton seems to have swapped it on the sprue for a baseball bat – much more useful for whacking Zombies! Also the figure holding the flag has an alternative set of arms which should come in useful. The seated figures should be usable for vehicle crews for some sort of “Fury Road” type vehicle; if they look inappropriate the happy smiles can be obscured scarves or filter masks, something like this: images-cdn.ecwid.com/images/844103/131218014.jpg In addition to the clothing being quite close fitting, most of the more prominent parts are separate components (e.g. lapels and skirt fringes) so smoothing the basic forms should be a simple matter before adding different clothing; hopefully that will be within the capability of my very limited sculpting skills. Cheers, M
