Stopped by the LHS today and saw this M4A3E8 sitting there. Having wanted to do a HVSS Sherman for awhile now I figured why not altho I thought the thing was kind of spendy. I expected to see your typical Tammy offering from the eighties or so once the box was open, great fit and not so great detail, kind of heavy molding, etc. After the first look inside you could have knocked me over with a fart. Workable indy track links, articulating suspension, fine detail molding to rival Dragon, an eight part Commander's M-2 and so on. If this thing goes together like typical Tammy it's really gonna be a gem
Thought some of ya may want to know
Regards, Mark

You're in for an even bigger surprise Mark...this is actually a reboxing of the Tasca M4A3E8 molds under the Tamiya label. One of the giveaways is the part #. Anything that has a 25XXX kit number isn't a Tamiya original mold and you'll see all kinds of stuff pop under there from time to time from various manufacturers like Italeri and even ICM.
