My next projects will be one of each of these..... One is a Tank Destroyer with self defence turret, the other is a AAA tank, they are both 'E-Z build' kits, disigned for wargaming, with total of about 10 parts each, but I intend to add details and super details before adding on to individual bases. Ideal lazy man's kits, took me about 10 minutes to get this far ATB Sean

Interesting. I have build the E-Z Build Tanks long time ago. I think this are the Porche type of the E-25

Interesting. I have build the E-Z Build Tanks long time ago. I think this are the Porche type of the E-25 Just read the side of the Schwerer Kliener Panzer and there is mention of Porche, a 345hp air-cooled motor and a 10.5cm main gun.... Lets see if I can do all that justice by putting together nicely.

A bit more done to them over the last few evenings..... Side skirt panel lines engraved on, bolt and rivet heads added, new 'round' gun barrels, lifting eyes and handles added to the E-25 Stug Now I've done a bit of research on these, well as much as you can on something that didn't exist, I have a few ideas up my sleeve to make them look more plausable as being used to help push the allies back out of Germany.... these are being strangely liberating to build, I feel more paper panzers maybe built in the future as a break from the 'real' stuff.... more to follow on these little fellows soon.... C&Cs welcome on the progress so far ATB Sean

Those are pretty nifty. Can't say I've come across those designs before in any of the Panzer '46 type stuff.

Dupes, Apparently the they are both based loosely off the E-25 chassis, they were designed to have rear mounted, air-cooled, engines and transmissions, with a rear drive sprocket as the main give away as everything from the E-50 up had a conventional lay-out.... at least that's my understanding of it

Bit more progress on the Jagdpanzer E-25, Engine cooling grills, crew hatch, cleaning rods, pioneer tool racks (which I stuffed up as I did them on 2 different days and couldn't find the same sprue I used on day 1 to biuld the other side so they're different thickness' ), spare track hooks and lengths made, IR systems made and wired up and tow cable join hooks fitted..... And this evening finished the wiring on the main gun sight IR system and made the self defence turret MG look a bit more like a gun and less like a tube .... Still more details to add before I'm happy then on the the Flakpanzer. ATB Sean

Really dressing up this little guy in style Sean. I hear you on the 'different day' production problem, I've had that same issue and can commiserate.

Thanks mate, I'm almost to the paint stage on both of them now, if the model gods smile fairly at me it could even be tonight that the primer an base coats go on, then I'll have to decide on some camo schemes.

Thanks mate, I uummed and aaaaahed over the netting, as I was going to build a turret box for the turret, but as it turned out I've mislaid my circle cutter so it was a 'no go' and the net got fitted instead, to be honest the air was a little blue while I did it, as this is the first time I've tried this method, but I'm quite happy with the results..... Total arse to paint though, even with an airbrush.

Now that's a cool job on the camo netting. Love them both but the Flakpanzer is starting to edge out the other.

I'm starting to feel the same mate, This last session I did some highlighting and camo work, the Flakpanzer is looking real nice now, if a tad bright, but weathering should dull it down. The Jagdpanzer on the other hand strikes me as being a touch dark, its the same darkyellow mix as I usually use but for some reason its come out darker, my guess is I'm not used to seeing it with a dark base as I normally do black/white pre shading, which I didn't think to use while doing the hull red base, probably a hangover from my 1/35 days when I used to base all my German armour with hull red and do post shading and just carried on all 'automaton' like. Anyhoo, a no BS assessment of what you think would be greatly appreciated, also on the Jagdpanzers camo pattern, I'm not convinced by it myself, I wanted to try something along the lines of the normally all green 'Octopus' scheme, but different, I'm still not sure its worked.... The Pics.... I'm about to add some more lighter sharp edge high-lighting to the Jagdpanzer to see if that lifts the darkness a bit, we shall see. Next step is gloss coat then washes and pin lining. As always C&Cs welcome ATB Sean

They came out great especially at that scale of only 1/72! Only thing I would do... paint rust on the mufflers. You wanted feedback so I am giving you one but it is not necessary if you want to keep the new look!

I think the camo pattern works but I see what you mean about the darker tones it has vs. the Flakpanzer. That's to be expected I guess given the darker green surrounding it and the addition of the octopus spots. It could just be the chromatic influence that is producing that, hard to be sure given the limits of viewing it via a monitor vs. 'in hand' under normal lighting. It works well as near as I can tell as a pattern though! I'm assuming you're not yet done with some of the details as you continue to work through on this. If it's not already on your list, I would recommend drilling out the barrel on the Flakpanzer's gun, it will add a lot to its realism for sure.
